50 Meter Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel in NanJing East Star Shipyard.

We held two 50 meter Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel in NanJing East Star Shipyard. This is the first time that this type of vessel in North Sea oil field. Usually, ERRV in North Sea oil field is built in Spain or European shipyard with European design. This means that Chinese shipyard is capable of building high standard quality offshore special vessel. The general manager, commercial director and former president attend the ceremony together with representative from ABS.

This type of ERRV will be patrolling 24/7 around oil platform in North Sea. During patrol, the electric bow thruster will provide main propullsion, which will save fuel consumption with 28 day working period. Rescue level CAT A(more than 300men), and equipped with 15 man high speed rescue boat and two 15 man daughter boat. The design, workmanship and safety regulation are following highest standard in Europe. This is the first made vessel in China for ERRV.

During construction, East Star Shipyard conquered many difficulties and overcome obstacles in construction of hull, paint,pipe and machinery, reaching the level of made in Europe. Shipyard has getting recognition and good feedback from both Vroon site team and ABS. It is certain that with the delivery of this project will strengthen the international competance in European offshore market of East Star Shipyard.
