As a company  specializing in foreign economy and trade and overseas engineering contracting  projects, backing on its mighty financing background and intensified  specialization abilities, UREC has contracted dozens of large projects in Southeast Asia and American countries, among which the supply  of complete sets of equipment, mechanical and electrical products to Myanmar  and contracting of the engineering projects in  the same country involving the different fields of transportation, energy  sources, agriculture and civil construction, etc. is especially worthy of  mention. Coordinating with Ministry of Railway, Myanmar, it has so far exported  to Myanmar locomotives, passenger carriages, railway communicating systems,  railway machinery and equipment and rails along with different kinds of  relative services with the total project amount up to US Dollars 171 million. 

Achievements regarding locomotives:

• In 1991：6 sets of 2000HP  locomotives，23 sets of passenger carriages and      railway communicating systems；

• In 1993：6 sets of 2000HP  locomotives，4 sets of 1200HP locomotives and 30 sets of passenger carriages；

• In 1993：rails of 13,000 tons；

• In 1993：railway machinery and  equipment；

• In 1993:  railway  machinery and equipment；

• In 1994:  rails  of 55,000 tons；

• In 1997:  rails  of 35,000 tons;

• In 2009：20 sets of 2000HP  locomotives.

Attaching itself to the principle of supplying  services of good quality, products of competition and setting up the great  brands of China and through cooperating with the famous domestic manufacturers   and partners, UREC has made a large progress in marketing in Myanmar and is trying  to achieve more and more in the Southeast Asia and other countries.
